John Hassall, Inc. was founded in New York City in 1850, and remains a privately held, employee union (Hassall Employee Association) company. We are located in Westbury, Long Island; New York.
From the rivets on Charles Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis, to safety critical high strength bolts in modern jet engines, to parts that make today's automobiles safer, JHI continues to play a critical role in advancing technology.
Today, at JHI, our capabilities have been expanded to include multi-station cold forming, hot forging, as well as a variety of sophisticated secondary operations such as precision turning, centerless grinding, broaching, thread rolling, heat treating, and product testing in a full metallurgical laboratory.
JHI offers a long tradition of unsurpassed quality and price competitiveness at its U.S. manufacturing facility. For our customers with a global perspective, we also offer convenient access to global sourcing through the strategic partnerships we have developed with manufacturers in Japan, China and Mexico.
Depending on the need, product can be distributed through our Westbury, NY facility, or it can be supplied direct to an assembly facility anywhere in the world. With over 25 years of experience in managing outsourced solutions without any significant incident, JHI offers convenient, single source solutions that minimize risk.
In 1998, JHI added third party certifications for ISO 9001:2008, QS 9000 and AS 9000 standards; in 2003 our registration was upgraded to AS 9100
Ongoing investments in equipment and technology, along with continuing education programs for employees, help maintain JHI's unique ability to deliver complex parts with fast turnaround.
